I remember you well. My favourite wasn't Graham Wyre because of his habit of prodding the top of one's head with a long bony finger. But I did make him smile once when I went up to his desk and asked him:

What pleasure does a monk have?

Answer: None (nun).

He said, 'You'll do!'

My favourite teachers were Christine Lees (English), Ernie Thrustle (Maths), Baggie Allen (Woodwork) & Ikey Walters (Science)..
