"Old tasting and stale"

I purchased one of your cherry cakes yesterday which is described as a moist sponge cake with plump juicy mouth watering cherries. Well you were right about the cherries, because if it wasn’t for them the cake would virtually be inedible.

As far as the moist sponge cake is concerned, it was so dry I would describe it as old dry and stale, despite the best before date of 19th December 2023.

I would be reluctant to purchase on of your products again..
